Bengal Cat Sales Contract
Rainbow Valley Bengals
This Agreement between (Buyer) ______________________ and (Seller) Rainbow Valley Bengals is effective as
of the date of the last signature to appear below and is binding upon all parties thereto. As to the below described
cat/kitten pursuant to all of the following terms.

Spay/Neuter Pet Agreement : Registration papers will be given to Buyer when proof from Vet of spay or neuter is
received.
Pet ___ Breeder___ Show___ Quality
Pet Quality
1. If sold as a pet, the kitten/ cat shall not, at any time be shown or bred. The (Seller) will not be held responsible
for how a pet quality kitten/cat develops. Kitten/cats sold as pets must be neutered/spayed no later than 6 months
of age and a letter from the Vet must be supplied to the (Seller) within 1 month of alteration surgery. Until
such time the Registration papers from TICA will be withheld by the (Seller.) (No profit can be made from a pet
quality Bengal Cats) ____
Breeder Quality
2. If sold as having breeding potential, the kitten/ cat may only be mated to a suitably TICA registered cats and
any resulting kittens shall be reared, vaccinated and sold or Re-homed in accordance with TICA guidelines. No
responsibility can be accepted by the (Seller) should the kitten/cat fail to succeed as a breeding adult.
Show Quality
3. If sold as having show potential, the (Seller) cannot guarantee the success of the kitten/cat in competitions
including no guarantee to the size, markings or colorings of cat at maturity, whether purchases for breeding,
show exhibition or as pet/companion.
Notification
4. The Breeder or Show quality kitten/cat shall not be sold or re-homed without the (Seller’s) prior knowledge.
The (Seller) reserves the right, should a situation arise, to take the kitten back, or to participate in finding a new
home if it is in the best interest of the kitten/ cat, and only if it is impractical for the kitten to be returned to the
(Seller).
The Buyer
5. Assumes responsibility of all expenses incurred in relation to the cat/kitten after leaving the possession of the
(Seller) as well as any expense incurred at the request of the (Buyer) before the cat/kitten leaves possession of the
(Seller.) If for any reason the cat/kitten is returned to the (Seller), (Buyer) agrees to pay all expenses, including
shipping costs, mileage and re-examination expense of (Seller's)
veterinarian. (This examination will include a complete viral panel blood test FELV, FIP, and HIV viruses.) ____
Refunds/ Replacements and Expenses
6. There shall be no refund or replacement unless under the Health Guarantee (7.) (Within the 72 hour period
only) except what is stated below. There will be no refunds of purchase price, shipping charges, or other costs.

Health Guarantee
7. Dreamers Legacy Cattery (Seller) guarantees the health of said kitten/cat upon pick-up from the cattery or
upon the time of shipment for a period of seventy-two (72) hours. This time period begins ___________ or at the
point of receiving shipped Cat/ Kitten. The cat, if shipped, comes to you with a record of vaccinations. We
recommend that you take the cat/kitten to your own veterinarian within the first 72 hours. (At the Buyers
expense.) ____
Quarantine the kitten/cat during this time and follow the advise of your own veterinarian. You or your
veterinarian, shall report to the (Seller) any medical problems (within the 72 hour period only) ____
Failure to make this report within this time frame will void this warranty. If the cat/kitten is found to be of
unsound health by a licensed veterinarian, the cat/kitten shall be returned to (Seller) and (Buyer) may request a
refund or replacement with another cat/kitten of equal value. Said replacement will be made as soon as a suitable
replacement becomes available. A medical report signed by the examining veterinarian must be provided to the
(Seller) prior to a replacement being made. The Seller will not replace any cat or kitten that has not received
adequate and appropriate care from its new owner. ____
1.) Unsound health shall be defined as any condition which is a congenital birth defect and is life threatening,
This shall not include conditions or infections such as Colds, Virus (including FIP) , Bacterial infections of any
kind, or Skin or Fur ailments. Parasites that infect the intestinal tract (including Giardia Coccidiosis) ____
2.) Should the cat/kitten die within six (6) months as direct result of an unknown (at the time of sale) congenital
birth defect, kitten/cat will be replaced only if an appropriate autopsy is performed by a licensed Veterinarian
and a veterinarian's certificate are provided and proof of cause of death. Trauma, abuse or neglect will void the
guarantee.
(Please have your kitten tested on your first Vet visit as it may take weeks or months to get test results back)

Warranty Void If FIP Vaccine Given
8. We do not recommend vaccinating this cat/kitten with the FIP vaccines. These Vaccines are not safe for any
breed. Reference: Feline Infectious Diseases, Chapter 7, page 54, (first column-last paragraph). Written by Niels

All Cats carry the Corona Virus in one variation or another. Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) is caused by a
Corona Virus that can infect any cat. In any event that said cat/kitten should be diagnosed with FIP/ FIPV with
or without the introduction of the vaccine and it causes death of said Cat/ Kitten this would not qualify for a
replacement. ____
Vaccinations
9. Your cat/kitten has been given the required vaccination series, excluding FIP vaccine. We pride ourselves in
raising healthy, vaccinated, kittens. At the time said cat/kitten leaves our cattery, to the best of our knowledge, in
healthy condition. However, in the event that said cat/kitten should be diagnosed with a condition, this would not
qualify for a replacement. No responsibility can be accepted for any illness occurring after purchase for any
stress related symptoms, from traveling or exposure to cats or their illnesses on the buyers end. ____
Shipping
10. Costs including health certificate required for shipping are to be paid by the (Buyer,) when purchasing a
kitten that must be shipped. Cat/kitten will be shipped Prepaid Freight Only. An estimate will be provided to the
(Buyer.) An airline-approved carrier of suitable
size will be estimated into the cost of the airline prepaid freight ticket. A viral panel test can be included at an
additional cost. The cat/kitten must be at least three months of age for this blood test and to fly. (Payments will
only be excepted if it is cash or cashiers check or personal check and must clear my bank account prior to
shipping this may take up to 2 weeks to process.) Specific shipping arrangements will be made in advance and
confirmed to (Buyer) by (Seller,) with the kittens/cat best welfare in mind. This signed agreement must be
returned prior to cat/kitten being shipped. ____
Deposits
11. The goal of Rainbow Valley Bengals is to place our kittens/cat in loving homes in a timely manner so they
bond with their new families. If a kitten/cat is held specifically for a (Buyer,) a change of mind can quite often
jeopardize the chance for that particular kitten to be placed in a home while still at a desirable age. The cost to
be placed on the waiting
list for a kitten/cat is $25.00 (non refundable) this allows you to remain on the kitten list for a period of 12
months or 3 litters, (which ever is the greater) . Once you have chosen your kitten a deposit of $200. 00 will be
required. (non refundable, but deductible off
the final payment ) The remainder of the total cost ($) of your kitten/cat must be made in full and must be
received before Shipment or Pick up of any kitten.
Venue
If any legal action is commenced by (Buyer) or (Seller) as a result of this contract, The (Buyer) agrees that the
place of venue for such action shall be Maricopa County, Arizona. (Buyer) assents to personal jurisdiction within
such venue regardless of their place of residence and agrees that any judgment obtained is enforceable within the
jurisdiction
that they reside in as if obtained within that jurisdiction.
Facsimile Signatures
A facsimile signature shall be enforceable as an original if the original contract is lost, destroyed, or otherwise
unavailable.
Terms
The use of the terms cat/kitten presents the same as the plural cat/kittens, in the case of more than one cat/kitten
being purchased under this sales agreement. I agree to all terms as stated herein.
